This is a hybrid-based position out of our Princeton, NJ office.  At least 3 days in office is required. U.S. citizenship is required AND must have environmental experience.

Your new role

As our new Lead Consultant, Environmental Data Analyst you will be part of a team that utilizes critical thinking skills and group participation in the development of databases, report documents, data dashboards, and data analysis. The successful Lead Consultant will be able to work independently, thrive in a team-environment, and be a technical data resource for project managers and staff. Your key responsibilities will be:

• B.S./M.S. in Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field and 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Understanding of relational databases and experience in EQuIS (or relevant environmental data management suites), Microsoft Access, SQL, and desktop and web based ESRI GIS products, including developing and managing geospatial databases; experience with EVS a plus
• Competence in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards connected to multiple data sources
• Ability to work on multiple deliverables at the same time while maintaining organization and efficiency
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact with and present to others, and willingness to work in diverse and multi-user team environments

About you

• Processing laboratory and other data deliverables and generating tables and maps to support the preparation of reports and presentations
• Performing statistical or spatial data analysis using large environmental datasets, including modeling contaminant mass and migration
• Developing Power BI dashboards to display site data and regulatory information
• Training and supervising entry level consultants in GIS and/or data management tasks
• Strategically refining existing data applications, and suggesting additional, practical and beneficial uses
• Environmental experience is required

At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $89,000 - $99,000.  Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
