WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

In alignment with the Nike brand, our Brand Planning & Operations Team strives to shape the brand through distinctive, emotive, and impactful stories and experiences that lead the future of sport.

As a Lead, you will be a member of the Los Angeles Brand Marketing Operations team. As part of the North America Brand Marketing organization, our team works cross-functionally to activate marketing programs that help propel the brand and the business into the future. We are responsible for bringing strategic vision, organization, clarity, and process excellence to deliver maximum consumer impact. We enable this by creating the time and space required for organizational brilliance through scalable, shared services to support the full marketing organization, driving accountability in planning, timing, and finance while embracing creativity and innovation as we deliver elevated brand standards. Our combined, end-to-end team will provide the organizational capability and uphold the operational rigor needed to drive marketing excellence.

Reporting directly to the Director of Planning and Operations, Los Angeles, you are the key strategic and operational partner to marketing leaders and will drive a cross-functional team and end-to-end seasonal process. Your primary cross-functional business partners include Brand Management, Retail and Partner Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Finance teams, while working closely with Digital, Media, Creative & Production, and Program Development & Capabilities on our end-to-end brand marketing process to ensure that our work aligns with our strategy and serves our business goals.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You have experience in implementing and driving an end-to-end integrated marketing process. The candidate is highly organized, results-driven, and an expert at strategy and organizational management. You are the conduit to internal functional partners, establishing and upholding these relationships. You have a strong desire to lead and evolve the way we work to truly shape the brand for the consumer.

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training
  • Minimum of 6+ years experience in a creative, fast-paced, and complex marketing environment
  • Proven success in portfolio management and large-scale, cross-functional program delivery
  • Results oriented, well organized, and can support multiple projects at once
  • Ability to navigate and utilize complex program management tools
  • Expertise in building and handling marketing budgets to meet business goals
  • Strong communication skills and ability to challenge the status quo and drive alignment across marketing teams
  • Self-directed and comfortable working in a dynamic, results-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to assess an issue and develop action steps for resolution
  • Expertise in Finance, Data/Analytics and Consumer Insights is a plus

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As an Operations Lead, you will:

  • Be responsible for ensuring the team is running effectively and efficiently according to Nike’s seasonal and long-term marketing objectives through the management and administration of the Operating Plan, Seasonal Priorities, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Define and align our brand priorities in LA, in partnership with the Los Angeles Marketing Leadership Team and other critical functions across the enterprise.
  • Be an expert in our creation and marketing processes, ensuring clarity in our brand direction, consistent measurement of our brand performance to fuel continuous Improvement and enable our priorities to be resourced including the development of budgets to meet business goals.
  • Oversee the development and execution of end-to-end marketing initiatives by providing operational efficiency, thought partnership, and process management tools to drive impact and deliver upon our brand strategies.
  • You are part of the North America Brand Operations team, partnering to establish and lead brand planning, operational best practices, and expertise.
