Veriswap is a barter marketplace for trading cards, operating within the $10B+ sports card secondary market. We're focused on creating a new swap economy because we firmly believe that the swaps market is 5x larger than the cash sales market for collectibles. Our mission is empower collectors by enabling them to trade sports cards anytime, anywhere.
Our founding team comes from Columbia (ex-IB) and from Brown (ex-Google). Together, we’re building something truly exciting, and we’re looking for driven individuals to help us shape the future of collectibles.

Requirements
Responsibilities
-Write clean code in Typescript using NextJS as the framework.
-Architect database schemas for PostgreSQL database to efficiently store large amounts of data.
-Be involved in conversations surrounding product and strategy.
-A solid understanding of security, scalability, and efficiency for backend infrastructure.
-Understanding of REST API's.
-Hands-on experience with GitHub (pull requests, branches, commits...).
Must Haves:
-Experience working on B2C apps
-Experience working on similar company types as Veriswap (Scale up phase, not 0->1)
-Leadership experience, leading a team of 3+ engineers
-Backend experience using NestJS: 4 years+
-PostgreSQL: 4 years+
-Typescript: 3 years+
-Google Cloud Run, Google Cloud SQL, GCP: 2 years+
-Direct work experience with Product Managers/UX Designers
