Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build and manage RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for enterprise-grade applications
- Architect and implement microservices-based solutions and distributed systems
- Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.)
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to overall engineering excellence
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–10+ years of backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience building API-driven and microservices-based architectures
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including: Compute: Lambda, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Aurora, API Gateway, SQS, SNS
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and concurrency
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills
