Lead Azure AI Architect

Currently, we are looking for a Lead Azure AI Architect to join our team in Finland. 

The Azure AI Lead Architect is responsible for the overall architecture of the organization’s AI solutions within the MS Azure environment. The Azure AI Lead acts as a key expert in developing AI capabilities, ensuring that solutions support business objectives, comply with security and governance requirements, and adoption of best practices.

Your daily responsibilities

• Create architecture diagrams
• Maintain architecture documentation
• Guide and support the development team
• Advise on the use of Azure AI Foundry features
• Present solutions and design decisions in governance and architecture forums

Technical Competencies

• Azure Cloud Architecture and Infrastructure - Strong understanding of Azure environment architectures, scaling models, and governance structures. Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level solutions
• Network Architecture - Expertise in Azure VNet structures. Ability to design and implement Private Endpoint solutions for secure AI services
• Azure AI - Experience with the Microsoft Foundry environment. Expertise in designing and utilizing Agent Service solutions
• Integrations and API Management - Understanding of API Management (APIM) and its role in managing AI solutions. Experience with AI Gateway solutions (e.g., traffic control, model access interfaces, cost management)
• Identity and Access Management - Expertise in identity management (e.g., Entra ID / Azure AD).
• Monitoring and Logging - Experience in implementing logging, monitoring, and auditability (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics). Understanding of traceability and responsible AI usage requirements

Working Skills

• Ability to work independently and proactively, taking ownership of large-scale solutions
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in complex environments
• Good documentation skills and a willingness to develop and standardize shared practices
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to different stakeholders (business, developers, management)
• Fluent communication skills in Finnish and English

The successful candidate is expected to go through a security clearance.
