  • Conduct research and proof-of-concept activities for new security technologies.
  • Recommend enhancements to existing security systems and processes.

Technical Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess technical security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that technical security controls are effective and aligned with risk management objectives.
  • Conduct technical risk assessments and vulnerability management activities.

Technical Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Act as a technical leader and mentor within the cybersecurity team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and operations, to integrate security into technical processes and projects.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during security incidents and investigations.

Standards and Best Practices:

  • Develop and promote technical security standards and best practices across the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant security frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive the adoption of secure coding and development practices.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of technical security strategies.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of security technologies and initiatives.
  • Provide technical insights and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
