Senior Business Analyst, Assembly Operations & S&OE

Position Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst drives data-driven decision making across assembly manufacturing operations, supporting S&OE through advanced analytics, planning tools, and digital solutions. This role partners with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Finance, Engineering, and Business Unit leaders to improve delivery performance, capacity utilization, inventory health, and production execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily, weekly, and monthly S&OE reviews with analysis and recommendations.

  • Evaluate demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and delivery performance to identify risks and opportunities.

  • Develop dashboards, planning models, and decision-support tools using Power BI, SQL, Python, and Excel.

  • Analyze production flow, capacity constraints, bottlenecks, scheduling, and inventory performance.

  • Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives that improve operational visibility and reduce manual work.

  • Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

  • Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional and senior leadership teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Operations Management, or related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing analytics, supply chain planning, operations analysis, or business intelligence.

  • Experience supporting semiconductor, electronics, high-tech, or complex manufacturing environments.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power BI (or similar BI tools).

  • Experience with Python, R, or other analytical programming languages.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional business decisions through data-driven insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Semiconductor assembly, electronics manufacturing, EMS, or advanced manufacturing experience.

  • Knowledge of S&OP, S&OE, MRP, APS systems, finite capacity planning, and factory scheduling.

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and MES platforms.

  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.

  • Experience leading analytics, planning, or process improvement initiatives.

  • Optimized inventory and capacity utilization

  • Reduced manual reporting effort

  • Increased adoption of analytical tools and dashboards

  • Improved forecasting, planning accuracy, and S&OE decision-making

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $109,600 to $150,700.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.

  • This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • 10+ years in supply chain, planning systems, or transformation roles
  • Hands-on experience with advanced planning platforms such as Blue Yonder or equivalent
  • Experience integrating planning capabilities with SAP and MES and planning platforms
  • Proven track record leading large-scale planning system transformations in complex high-mix manufacturing environments
  • Fab/front-end manufacturing planning experience (wafer start planning, capacity planning, WIP orchestration, constraint-based decision-making)
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder influence, change management, and executive presentation skills
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Willingness to travel up to ~10%
