DHR Enterprise AI Solutions is Danaher's enterprise AI engineering capability, responsible for identifying opportunities, building and scaling reusable AI solutions, and accelerating measurable business impact across operating companies. We combine product, architecture, AI science, engineering and operations to industrialise AI, establish enterprise standards and enable the next generation of AI-powered products, workflows, applications and decision-making.
The Lead AI SRE & QA Engineer is responsible for establishing the reliability, quality, evaluation, and observability practices that make Danaher AI solutions dependable, measurable and ready for sustained production use.
You will lead reliability engineering initiatives, define quality strategies, implement automated testing frameworks, establish observability standards, and drive continuous improvement of AI systems throughout the software development lifecycle. The role partners closely with AI Engineers, Software Engineers, Platform and Data Teams, IT, Security, Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders to ensure highly available and trusted AI solutions.
This is a Danaher Corporate role, hosted by our Cytiva operating company in Kraków, and will be an on-site role (Kraków).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Define and establish testing frameworks, reliability standards, applying this capability across solution & architecture to build, industrialise and scale trusted, reusable AI solutions
- Implement monitoring and observability, Improve operational resilience across the applications
- Lead AI quality initiatives to bring matured operational KPIs and quality metrics and provide executive reporting on system health, reliability, platform availability, and product quality
- Develop AI-specific validation frameworks to evaluate model accuracy, hallucination rates, prompt effectiveness, response quality, safety, bias, interpretability, and responsible AI compliance
- Lead production readiness reviews, operational risk assessments, incident management processes, and root cause analysis activities.
The Essential Requirements of the Job Include:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 10 Plus years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Quality Engineering, Test Automation, Software Development, Cloud platform knowledge, Monitoring tools expertise
- Experience in working with cloud-native applications on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms with hands on experience in automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, quality engineering practices, and release management processes
- Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale monitoring, observability, and production support capabilities.
- Experience in developing and applying DS, ML, and AI solutions.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) applications. AI model testing, evaluation, and benchmarking methodologies.
- Reliability, Performance engineering, and load testing for distributed systems.
- Working in life sciences, diagnostics, healthcare, advanced manufacturing or other regulated industries.
