CNA Position Purpose:
The primary purpose of your job description is to participate in the basic nursing care of the OB, postpartum and nursery patient from admission through discharge and to perform non-nursing functions. Non-nursing duties will include but not limited to performing CNA duties, keeping rooms clean and stocked, clerical duties as assigned, answering phones and relaying messages appropriately. This position is responsible to the nurses, Charge Nurse, and nurse manager.
Requirements:
Education - High School Graduate or GED
Experience: Minimum - Up to 1 year of job related experience
Maximum - 2 - 5 years of recent related experience
Licenses/Certificates - Current Active Certified Nursing Assistant - State of GA - REQUIRED. BLS - must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
Skills Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Up to 1 year of job-related experience
- Current active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Georgia
- Basic Life Support certification within 60 days of hire
- 2 to 5 years of recent related experience
