We are seeking an exceptional marketing executive to lead our LATAM Field Marketing strategy as Director/Senior Director, based in Bogotá, Colombia. This strategic leadership role will drive our market presence across Latin America through innovative field marketing programs, compelling narrative development, and strong ecosystem partnerships. The ideal candidate will combine deep regional expertise with proven ability to build and execute integrated marketing strategies that accelerate growth across diverse industries, with particular emphasis on managing and maximizing our strategic AWS partnership. 

Job Description

Strategic Leadership & Execution 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive field marketing strategies across LATAM markets to drive adoption, customer success, and revenue growth 
  • Lead the design and execution of high-impact activations, events, and co-selling programs aligned with sales and partner priorities 
  • Own regional marketing playbook development and narrative building across key market segments 
  • Build and manage strategic technology partnerships, with AWS as a critical alliance requiring dedicated focus and alignment 

Content Strategy & Narrative Development 

  • Champion narrative building and content creation tailored to diverse LATAM audiences, including public and private sector stakeholders 
  • Create compelling, culturally-relevant content that resonates across multiple languages and markets 
  • Develop high-value content assets including case studies, whitepapers, thought leadership reports, and executive presentations 
  • Transform complex technology solutions into simple, relevant, and impactful narratives for C-level stakeholders 
  • Define and implement regional PR strategy to establish thought leadership across LATAM 

Cross-Functional Leadership 

  • Foster close collaboration with sales leadership, solution architects, partners, and PR agencies to ensure message consistency and market impact 
  • Partner with global marketing teams to localize and adapt campaigns for regional market dynamics 
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that align marketing efforts with sales priorities and partner ecosystem strategies 
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, PR agencies, and industry analysts to enhance regional visibility 
  • Serve as primary marketing liaison for AWS partnership, ensuring alignment and maximizing joint go-to-market opportunities 

Performance & Optimization 

  • Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to track marketing impact and ROI 
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize campaigns and resource allocation 
  • Leverage analytics for storytelling and demonstrating marketing's contribution to business outcomes 
  • Drive continuous improvement in marketing effectiveness through testing and iteration 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications 

  • 7+ years of progressive marketing experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles 
  • Proven track record in field marketing, demand generation, and enterprise marketing in LATAM markets 
  • Demonstrated success in managing technology partnerships and alliance marketing programs 
  • Experience in content strategy, PR, and narrative building for diverse audiences including public sector 
  • Language Requirements: Native-level Spanish and advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) 
  • Deep understanding of LATAM market dynamics, including cultural nuances, business practices, and communication approaches 
  • Experience engaging and influencing C-level executives and senior stakeholders 
  • Strong project management capabilities with ability to balance strategic thinking and tactical execution 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience working with cloud ecosystem partners and understanding of cloud technology landscape 
  • Proven ability to work with media, PR agencies, and industry analysts in LATAM markets 
  • Track record of producing industry thought-leadership content 
  • Knowledge of LATAM public sector dynamics, including procurement models and communication sensitivities 
  • Experience building and leading distributed marketing teams across multiple countries 
  • Understanding of digital transformation trends in LATAM enterprises and institutions 
  • Analytical mindset with expertise in marketing automation, CRM systems, and data visualization tools 
  • Previous experience working with or for major technology vendors (AWS, Microsoft, Google, etc.) 

Additional Information

Travel Requirements 

This role requires approximately 40-50% travel throughout LATAM markets to support field activities, events, and stakeholder engagement.
