We currently have a career opportunity for a Technical Architect - DevSecOps (AWS) to join our team. While our headquarters are in St. Louis, MO, this role is remote and can be located anywhere in Latin America
 
We are looking for a Technical Architect - DevSecOps (AWS) who is passionate about securing cloud platforms and software delivery processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in DevSecOps architecture, AWS cloud security, and CI/CD pipeline design, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and compliant engineering solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive DevSecOps architecture and best practices across CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
  • Design and enforce cloud security controls and governance frameworks within AWS environments.
  • Partner with security teams to review, triage, and remediate security findings, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Architect and guide secure software delivery pipelines, including integration of security checks into CI/CD workflows.
  • Establish standards, frameworks, and reusable patterns for secure cloud and pipeline implementations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
  • Oversee implementation of automation for security, compliance, and remediation processes.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and advisor for DevSecOps and cloud security initiatives.

 

Qualifications
  • Strong experience in DevSecOps architecture and implementation.
  • Deep expertise in AWS cloud environments, including architecture and security best practices.
  • Solid understanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups.
  • Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls.
  • Experience driving enterprise-scale security remediation efforts.
  • Ability to operate at both architecture and design level, while stepping into hands-on execution when required.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with experience working across distributed teams.
  • Preferred: Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines such as SonarQube, Snyk, and Clair.
  • Preferred: Exposure to cloud security monitoring, vulnerability management, and threat detection tools.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with enterprise security standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Preferred: Experience working in large enterprise environments with mature security organizations.
  • Preferred: Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
