Position Job Title: Coordinator, Land Acquisition
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Location: Office
Position Summary
Provide essential administrative support to the Division Land Acquisition team for the purchase of land parcels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, however other duties may be assigned:
- Assist with set up and maintenance of project files, and related support material.
- Maintain a database that identifies each land target and tracks the status of each for the Division.
- Assist with Feasibility for new acquisitions, manage consultant contracts, update Feasibility Tracker, review Title Reports, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of preliminary and final Investment Committee Land Books for the Executive Team.
- Coordinate with the Corporate Finance Team to prepare for land closings.
- Overall project document control, including correspondence, purchase orders, invoices, wire requests and supporting documentation.
- Assist the Land Acquisition team in the preparation of competitive market analysis and financial proformas to determine the viability of proposed land acquisitions.
- Maintain and update market centric CMAs for the Division.
- Extract & analyze data from a variety of sources including the MLS, company databases, Metrostudy, LandVision, Zonda, and other external websites.
Managerial Responsibility: This position does (not) supervise other employees.
Position Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience):
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Adobe, Word and Excel, and Google Earth Pro
- A background in real estate or market research is desired and professional knowledge of the home-building and land brokerage industry is highly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
- A minimum of two years experience in a professional environment assisting a senior level Executive
- Proficiency in handling multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work cooperatively with a variety of personality types
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job and be a team player with a strong work ethic
Base Salary: The expected base salary range for this position is between $62,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience and skillset. Base Salary is paid bi-weekly, every other Friday. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based on divisional and individual performance.
