Vancouver Clinic is hiring a Laboratory Assistant to support our busy Clinical Lab. In this role, you’ll help keep lab operations moving by processing routine and STAT testing, picking up and accessioning specimens, labeling and delivering slides, filing and retrieving slides/blocks, monitoring temperatures, and supporting accurate report archival. You’ll also provide excellent service to patients, providers, and medical staff by ensuring proper patient identification, accurate specimen labeling, timely data entry, scanning, and faxing. This role is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, flexible, and able to prioritize STAT, ASAP, routine, and pre-op specimens in a fast-paced lab environment. Responsibilities may include performing CLIA waived and moderate complexity testing, troubleshooting workflow issues, following clinic and laboratory policies and procedures, and collaborating with the lab team to meet patient care needs.
Location: Padden Commerce Park (12019 NE 99th St Ste 1780 Vancouver, WA 98682)
Schedule: Monday through Friday 1:00PM to 9:30PM
Hiring range is generally between $20.59-$24.68 per hour, and placement in the range is based on an evaluation of experience. *Differential Available: Evening, after 5:30p ($3.00/hour)
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of two years’ experience working in a healthcare, laboratory, and/or combination of education and experience in phlebotomy/lab sciences preferred

Pay Range:
