Job Summary

As a Technician at MORSE you will be applying skills across a variety of disciplines to support the development of cutting-edge technologies such as aerial vehicles, autonomous systems, and next generation materials. MORSE is searching for candidates with hands on experience with mechanical, electrical, and testing. This position will be fully onsite in our Cambridge lab and office.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform hands-on assembly tasks of mechanical, electrical, and novel material systems to support prototyping and production

  • Perform testing and quality inspections using laboratory equipment

  • Follow and find new ways to improve manufacturing, safety, and general lab processes

Requirements: 

  • US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED 

  • Ability to use hand tools for assembly as well as analytical tools for testing

  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing R&D environment and quickly learn new topics

  • Ability to identify issues, communicate them, and work with engineers to develop solutions

  • Ability to follow detailed fabrication processes of complex prototypes to high degree of quality and accuracy

  • Experience in the fabrication of mechanical and electrical systems using commonly used techniques and tools

  • Cooperative team player eager to step up and fill in gaps as needed
