Lab Specialist 

Due to our continued success, we are expanding our Lab Query team and are seeking Lab Specialists to join the team. Reporting to the Lab Query Team Lead, you will work within the team to resolve issues and collect information from our customers and members to expedite lab processing and the delivery of results.

The Lab Specialist position will be based onsite in our office in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Follow up with customers and members for required information to resolve issues or to gather information needed to complete the testing process
  • Follow up with customers and members in relation to inactive kits to complete the testing process
  • Identify trends/patterns in results and delays and escalate appropriately
  • Collaborate with the team to identify sources of issues and make recommendations to address the problem or improve the overall lab query process
  • Update processing labs and lab order requests when required 
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls as well as email inquiries as needed to support service requirements
  • Meet company objectives by helping out with other special projects or assignments as requested by leadership
  • Assist the clinical results delivery when needed
  • Any other tasks as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a customer service environment
  • High level of comfort with technology and working knowledge of Google tools
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Connect telephony platform and Salesforce a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high growth, virtual environment
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work with others
  • Natural ability to demonstrate empathy and inherent desire to help others

The base salary range for this role is $38,000 - $42,000
