Responsibilities
- Perform routine testing in-process sampling (finished products) to ensure quality, safety, and Halal compliance.
- Conduct routine chemical and physical tests such as moisture content, FFA levels, iodine value, peroxide value, cloud point, and color.
- Accurately document all test results and observations in the manual logs.
- Communicate test results, deviations, and non-conformances to the Lab Chemist for further action and resolution.
- Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols, including properly handling, storing, and disposing of chemicals and samples.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab in compliance with 5S principles and Kaizen practices.
- Assist in method development and validation of new testing procedures to enhance laboratory capabilities.
- Perform in any lab operations activities, assignment, project and any other task given as and when required by the management.
Requirements
- SPM or equivalent.
- Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of working experience in a related field.
- Experience in Laboratory / Food Industry is an added advantage,
- Good understanding of GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001 & Halal.
- Able to work under minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
