Shyft Solutions is looking for a Kubernetes-focused Software Developer to support a modern decision support system that provides real-time situational awareness to senior national leadership.
This role focuses on building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers mission-critical applications. You will work closely with software engineers to ensure systems are scalable, secure, and reliable.
What You Will Do- Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure
- Support containerization and orchestration of applications
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy and scale services
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and performance issues
- Demonstrate progress and solutions regularly to customers
- High school diploma with 6 years of experience OR
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 2 years of experience OR
Master’s degree in a STEM field with 0 years of experience - Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Experience working with Kubernetes and containerized environments
- Experience in software development (Java or similar language preferred)
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Understanding of Agile development processes
- Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to meet project needs
- Ability to work full time on-site in Bellevue, NE
- Active Secret Clearance
- DevOps or DevSecOps experience
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- Experience with Jenkins or similar tools
- Experience with infrastructure as code
- Familiarity with software security tools
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Bitbucket

Salary Range: $105,000.00 - $140,000.00
