About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Kotlin Android Developer to join a cross-functional team working on mobile products used by U.S.-based end customers, particularly in the personal banking and wealth management domain. You'll work closely with an established Android team on the client side and collaborate with designers, engineers, and product owners to build impactful, customer-focused apps.

This is a hands-on development role—perfect for someone who is passionate about clean code, modern Android development practices, and shipping great products. Collaboration is key as you'll be part of a cross-functional, high-performing team, with direct access to global projects and experienced peers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain native Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

• Collaborate with the client’s Android team to deliver features and fix bugs

• Work closely with cross-functional team members in design, product, and QA

• Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices

• Consume and integrate RESTful APIs

• Use and extend well-known libraries (e.g., Retrofit, Ktor, OKHttp, Hilt, Coroutines, Flows)

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing Android apps

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin

• Solid experience with Jetpack Compose

• Good understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns

• Experience with modern libraries: Retrofit, Ktor, OKHttp, Hilt, Coroutines, Flows

• Strong grasp of SOLID principles and Industry best practices

• Excellent spoken and written English

A significant advantage would be:

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)

• Familiarity with financial or banking applications

• Knowledge of Play Console or CI/CD tools
