We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Korea Operations Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our Seoul office and help execute strategic initiatives that support Roblox’s growth in the Korean market. In this role, you will manage local business operations, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and support key programs across marketing, business development, and community initiatives. You will work closely with the Head of Korea and global teams to ensure local execution aligns with broader company goals.

Role is based in Korea and reporting to the Head of Korea

You will:

  • Report to the Head of Korea and act as a key strategic partner, streamlining daily operations and ensuring alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional planning, including preparation and delivery of high-impact executive communications such as quarterly business reviews (QBRs), leadership updates, and strategic reporting to HQ.
  • Oversee Korea business operations, including budgeting, vendor and partner management, contract coordination, and performance tracking.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination between the Korea team and global functional leads, ensuring alignment on timelines, priorities, and resources.
  • Drive execution of Korea-specific programs across marketing, business development, and community engagement, ensuring integration with global initiatives.
  • Provide strategic insights into the Korean gaming and tech landscape to inform product, policy, and go-to-market decisions.
  • Support leadership on ad-hoc strategic initiatives, internal communications, and planning processes that improve team performance and business outcomes.

You have: 

  • 7+ years of experience in operations, program management, marketing, or business support roles, ideally in gaming, tech, or entertainment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English
  • Deep understanding of the Korean gaming market and user trends.
  • Comfortable managing partner relationships, contracts, and budgets.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across distributed teams.
  • Proven ability to execute programs and manage complex workflows independently.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and execution-focused—able to take initiative and drive results.

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
