Scope:
We are looking for an Accelerator Manager to execute all operations of the accelerator, taking a strong sense of ownership and accountability for the programs’ success.
The Accelerator Manager is directly responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the accelerator. This will include spending time with founders to understand and resolve challenges they face. This will allow you to have deep insight into ways to drive improvements in the overall program. You will also be driving the program design, marketing events, community building, curriculum planning, mentor scheduling, administrative duties as well as creating a great experience for all participating startups. The Accelerator Manager is the first point of contact for in-program startups, as well as the liaison between different teams within 500.
This position is based in Seoul, South Korea, and requires international travel to support program operations.
Essential Functions:
Run the accelerator program end-to-end, including but not limited to program planning, marketing events, curriculum adaptation, and accompanying the startups throughout the different stages of the program from onboarding to graduation.
Engage with startup founders 1:1 to understand the biggest roadblocks to their success. You are also creative in finding solutions to help them overcome those roadblocks while leveraging investors and mentors to help.
Together with the other team members, drive community engagement by planning and executing events for the in-program startups, and alumni.
Implement and ensure the successful delivery of the program, including optimizing startup engagement and measuring startup satisfaction.
Keep track of program data and batch information, and report on accelerator activity on a regular basis.
Establish and encourage a culture of empathy, service, and participation.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 3 years of professional experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and Hangul Word Processor (HWP)

Experience in managing and operating accelerator programs, or serving as a founder or operator at a Pre-Seed or Seed stage VC backed startup
Marketing background in events, content, PR or other areas that are relevant for the program and founders
Proficiency in Airtable, Zapier, Excel and/or other related systems
Experience managing and/or building digital communities
