We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. Wir suchen einen hochmotivierten und detailorientierten Engineering-Techniker zur Verstärkung unseres Teams in Stuttgart. In dieser praxisorientierten Position übernehmen Sie eine zentrale Rolle bei der Konzeption, dem Aufbau, der Erprobung und der Wartung unserer Prüfstände sowie unserer Prototypen-Fahrzeuge und -Plattformen – von PKW über LKW bis hin zu Offroad- und Sonderfahrzeugen. Bei Applied Intuition werden Sie:
  • Den Aufbau unserer Prototypen am Standort Stuttgart verantworten
  • Prototypen-Plattformen und Fahrzeuge konzipieren und aufbauen – sowohl PKW und LKW als auch Sonder- und Offroad-Fahrzeuge
  • Weitere Techniker anleiten und koordinieren, aber auch selbst Hand anlegen – sei es beim Aufbau initialer Prototypen oder beim Aufbau einer Flotte baugleicher Testfahrzeuge anhand bestehender Aufbaupläne aus Stuttgart oder unseren anderen Standorten
  • Fehler an Fahrzeugsystemen, Computerkomponenten und Sensoren beheben, Ursachenanalysen durchführen und Kalibrierungen vornehmen
  • Ein Inventarsystem für alle Komponenten und Laborbedarf verwalten und so für Ordnung und Effizienz sorgen
  • Den Beschaffungsprozess für Schlüsselkomponenten steuern und Beziehungen zu wichtigen Lieferanten pflegen
  • Im Team zusammenarbeiten, um Ausfallzeiten der Fahrzeuge zu minimieren und dabei Sicherheit und Leistung stets in den Vordergrund stellen
  • Den Aufbau von Prototyping-Kapazitäten an unseren weiteren EMEA-Standorten sowie bei unseren Kunden vor Ort unterstützen
Wir suchen jemanden, der mitbringt:
  • Mindestens 2 Jahre technische Erfahrung in den Bereichen Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik, Informatik, Automobiltechnik oder Robotik
  • Nachgewiesene Fähigkeit, Prototypen, elektrische Verkabelungen und Kabelkonfektionen gemäß technischen Vorgaben aufzubauen
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse im Lesen von Schaltplänen und Datenblättern für eine korrekte Interpretation und Umsetzung
  • Erfahrung in der Erstellung und Pflege detaillierter Montageanleitungen – für Klarheit im Team und als Referenz für die Zukunft
  • Praktische Erfahrung in einer Werkstatt-, Labor- oder Montageumgebung, mit nachgewiesenen Lötkenntnissen und einem hohen Qualitätsanspruch
  • Vertrautheit mit Werkstattausrüstung, 3D-Druckern und Kfz-Diagnosegeräten

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician (Kfz Mechatroniker für Prototypen) to join our team in Stuttgart. This hands-on role will play a crucial part in supporting the design, buildout, testing, and maintenance of our test rigs and platforms.   • Troubleshoot vehicle systems, computer components, and sensors, performing root cause analysis and calibration.
  • Manage an inventory system for all components and lab supplies, maintaining organization and efficiency.
  • Manage the procurement process for key components and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
  • Work collaboratively to minimize vehicle downtime while prioritizing safety and performance.
We’re looking for someone who has:
  • 2+ years of technical experience in mechanical, electrical, computer, automotive, or robotics industries.
  • Proven ability to assemble prototypes, electrical wiring, and cable assemblies according to engineering instructions.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and datasheets, ensuring accurate interpretation and implementation.
  • Experience documenting and maintaining detailed assembly procedures for clarity and future reference.
  • Practical experience working in a shop, lab, or assembly environment, demonstrating proven soldering skills and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Familiarity with shop equipment, 3D printers, and automotive diagnostic tools.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organization and communication skills, effectively collaborating with team members and maintaining an accurate inventory system.
Nice to have:
  • Familiarity with Python or other programming languages, enhancing troubleshooting and automation capabilities.
