The Omni Key Account Manager for SharkNinja, will report to the Sales Director and play an integral role in driving world class account management initiatives by working closely with those retailer merchants in collaboration with SharkNinja corporate teams (sales planning, category planning & analysis, omni channel, supply chain, customer service and finance) to meet sales & profit, distribution and digital goals.

  • Demonstrate Best in Class account management, driving growth in Topline/Share, Revenue and Margin to help us achieve and exceed our goals.
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to win for your business which includes driving market share growth for both the retailer and SharkNinja, with a clear path to goal achievement.
  • Ability to be a successful sales leader, acting as the “business manager “of your business, including cross-functional team leadership, financial and analytical savvy and demonstrated thought leadership on how to achieve breakthrough goals at your accounts.
  • Critical decision making, based on financial analysis of multiple scenarios to drive profitable growth, often diving into the details and understanding what comprises & drives contribution margin $ and %.
  • Owning the Omni-Channel responsibilities including; customer profitability, working closely with internal teams to develop quotes for new items, and manage promotional spending within ROI goals.
  • Be the voice of the customer internally and advocate for what is needed to be successful with Walmart
  • Help to drive the overall account strategy and will own the outcome for customer meetings; leveraging internal support areas.
  • Execution focused; mindful of key milestones and a demonstrated ability to create and adhere to a schedule to ensure success.
  • Working with the Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams to optimize the flow of goods, including the monthly forecast cycle and long-range plans.
  • Working with Category Analysis teams to report POS, trends, factors impacting the business
  • Gathering and communicating competitive factors impacting the business (i.e. new competitive items, competitive promotions, etc.)
  • Delivering flawless execution for SharkNinja and Walmart:
    • New Product Launches (in-store and online)
    • Ensure the highest level of online execution and penetration
    • Timely response to retailer and internal partner requests
    • Leverage weekly and daily analytics to drive key decisions

 ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:

  • Intimate knowledge of how to drive sales at larger retailers. Preferred sales and/or buying experience working with Walmart Inc. or a mass retailers.
  • Gritty sales leader with strategic vision, execution focused, track record of overcoming obstacles to deliver results
  • Collaborative team player yet not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get into the details themselves
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, complimented by effective oral and written communication.
  • Strong analytical skills to gather and analyze large sets of data, ability to automate reporting will be a true advantage
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to be able to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Winning track record for promotional execution during key periods
  • Ability to thrive in the SharkNinja fast-pace, “obsessed with winning” environment
  • Solution oriented thinker and executor will enjoy solving problems to move the business forward
  • Flexibility to manage objectives and deliverables in a dynamic, innovation-led culture

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience in account management, sales analytics, or merchandising
  • 4 years of experience in one of the following: sales, marketing, logistics, merchandising, and/or product management.
  • Previous Walmart experience
  • Retail Link experience, Luminate preferred
  • MS Office Proficiency (Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel approximately 6 times per year to our Boston, MA headquarters and to other offsite meetings as needed
  • This role is based in our Rogers, AR office and is hybrid
