About The Role:
As the Key Account Manager - Small Format at Feastables, you will be integral to expanding Feastables' reach within the small-format retail landscape. You’ll be at the forefront of driving success across drug and convenience channels, focusing on building robust partnerships, aligning our sales strategies with retailer needs, working with regional distributors and ensuring Feastables' products are positioned for optimal visibility and performance.
In this role, you will bring together strategic planning and hands-on execution to capture and grow market share across these high-impact channels. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage and expand relationships with key regional accounts and distributors in the small-format retail space, ensuring our products are optimally positioned to capture consumer interest
- Tailor promotional and merchandising strategies to the unique requirements of each small-format channel, ensuring alignment with Feastables' overarching brand vision
- Work closely with regional distributors (e.g., McLane, Core-Mark) to optimize distribution strategies and ensure seamless execution at retail
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across these channels, fostering collaborative partnerships that drive mutual success
- Partner closely with the Marketing, Innovation, and Category Management teams to deliver a cohesive brand message and ensure product alignment within small-format retail settings
- Use consumer insights and industry trends to inform strategic planning and drive decisions that resonate with the unique shopper demographics within each channel
- Set and exceed sales targets by employing data-driven insights, proactively adjusting strategies to maximize growth opportunities
- Ensure compliance with each retailer's standards, advocating for Feastables’ brand values and objectives to maintain a premium product presence
- Support the execution of joint business plans and promotion strategies to achieve shared goals with key accounts
Recipe For Success:
- 5+ years of experience in sales or account management within the CPG industry, with a focus on small-format channels such as drug, or convenience
- Proven track record of building and executing successful sales plans that drive revenue growth and enhance retail partnerships
- Strong understanding of the small-format retail landscape, including the operational dynamics and consumer behaviors within drug and convenience channels
- Established relationships with key buyers and decision-makers across small-format channels, with the ability to forge new partnerships
- Familiarity with distributors like McLane, Core-Mark, and other regional distributors
- Strong analytical skills, adept at using data to inform and refine sales strategies
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging and influencing high-level stakeholders
- A high degree of organization and ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
- Travel up to 40% of the time to visit accounts, attend key meetings, and build strong face-to-face relationships with customers
- Passion for the CPG industry, with an interest in leveraging digital and social media insights to enhance brand engagement across channels
