As a Key Account Manager in NAM, you will be Customer facing staff responsible for winning business. Contributes to sales plan in a specific region. Defines sales strategy for targeted clients.
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Selling product(s), services, parts, solutions, or projects within a geographic area.
- Handling standardized products with pre-defined options requiring simple client advice.
- Contributing to Prices and conditions to have a certain degree of granularity.
- Maintaining existing accounts and going out hunting for new customers
- Working on the basis of predefined contracts price frameworks with some latitude to deviate from prices and conditions.
- Handling diverse clients in a region.
- Cooperating with (technical) sales support to realize sales.
- Leading a department with medium-sized estimated orders.
- Handling local focus on Small-Medium size territory
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Engineering degree preferred)
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience with technical sales experience predominantly with hardware (OEM Sensor knowledge is preferred)
- Be proficient end-user IT skills including MS Office/Outlook + Salesforce /DealMachine (preferred)
- Have experience working with OEM's
- Have a proven track record of technical product sales and commercial experience within an Oil and Gas or Energy environment
