About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and analytical Key Account Manager to join our growing team at Taager, the leading social-commerce platform empowering online entrepreneurs across MENA.
This position is based in Casablanca, Morocco, and plays a key role in expanding Taager’s merchant network and strengthening relationships with our top-performing sellers.
As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with key merchants and partners, driving their business growth, and ensuring an exceptional experience on the Taager platform. You’ll act as the bridge between our merchants and internal teams — blending strategic thinking with hands-on execution to deliver measurable results.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts — ensuring sales, retention, and satisfaction targets are met.
- Develop a deep understanding of each merchant’s business model, category dynamics, and growth potential.
- Monitor account performance using data and reporting dashboards; identify gaps and implement improvement plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to support merchants.
- Negotiate and plan promotional campaigns to increase revenue and visibility.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key clients and identify long-term growth opportunities.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and category performance to identify expansion levers.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Category Management (preferably in e-commerce, FMCG, or digital retail).
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing B2B or B2C accounts.
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills with brand owners and business partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce), and reporting dashboards.
- Fluency in French and Arabic (Darija); good command of English is required.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience working with marketplace or e-commerce platforms (Shopify, YouCan, Jumia, etc.).
- Knowledge of digital marketing metrics, logistics, and product activation flows.
- Familiarity with Google Data Studio, Looker, or other BI tools.
- Background in social commerce or influencer-driven sales.
