Key Responsibilities:
The Key Account Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sales Manager in achieving sales objectives within the marine coating sectors. This position is responsible for driving profitable and sustainable business growth, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and values.
Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring continued business growth.

Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Manage key customer accounts, providing exceptional service and support.

Conduct regular client visits to gather market insights and strengthen relationships.

Prepare and negotiate project specifications, quotations, and contracts in line with company policies.

Promote the company's innovative technical solutions to meet client needs.

Provide accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports.

Collaborate with Customer Service, Logistics, and Technical Service teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.

Ensure all relevant information is accurately recorded and maintained in the CRM system.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Achievement of turnover and net profit targets.

Acquisition of new clients within the targeted industries.

Effective management of credit control and accounts receivable.
Work Relations:

Internal: Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Logistics, Technical Service, R&D, and Finance departments.

External: Maintain and enhance relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Experience:

Demonstrated success in sales and negotiation, with a strong background in the marine, chemical, and coating industries.

In-depth market knowledge and expertise in customer relationship management.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Proficiency in Malay, English, CRM systems, and general computer applications.
