Summary of role
Develop and execute a territory business plan which aligns with the overall DEFINITY® Marketing and Sales strategy to maximize effectiveness and produce sales results.
This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.
Requirements of the Role
- Demonstrate the ability to uncover customer needs and apply appropriate marketing resources to satisfy those needs, overcome objections, gain agreement, and advance the sales process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders across multiple settings (e.g., sonographers, medical directors, technical directors, pharmacy directors, purchasing directors, etc.)
- Maintain strong clinical, competitive and marketplace knowledge and apply relevant information in selling situations.
- Communicate clearly the economic impact of LMI products to financial stakeholders within local and regional health systems, provide reimbursement support and, as appropriate, manage local contracting.
- Provide echo contrast education to cardiology fellowship programs and cardiac ultrasound schools.
- Collaborate with integrated teams (e.g., Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Management) and with external support resources to prioritize business challenges and propose solutions which ultimately benefit our customers and the patients they serve.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the purpose of developing innovative marketing resources, training materials, sales tactics and/or sales analytics applications.
- Attend and actively participate in sales meetings, conference/video calls and training sessions.

- Ensure a compliant, principled culture to promote Lantheus Holdings products and adhere to the highest ethical standards.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum requirements include BA or BS in an accredited 4-year college or university.
- Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or equivalent industries.
- Proficient in using computer software applications and video conferencing platforms, to include MS Office and CRM
- Strong oral and written communications skills, with ability to present clinical information in a compelling and persuasive manner.
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop effective strategies, and quickly implement solutions.
Preferred
- "Hospital sales"
- Proven history of successful cardiovascular sales and/or clinical cardiology experience
- Retains a current network of contacts in local healthcare organizations.
Other Qualifications:
Field based role requiring overnight travel based on business need (including in-person customer interactions, displays, industry meetings, and mandatory in-person training), recurrent weekend or evening work may be required.
- The candidate is required to reside within assigned territory Sacramento or San Jose area
- Must meet “call metrics” (which may cover both in-person and virtual client engagement) and other requirements established for territory from time to time.
- Must have valid driver’s license, qualified vehicle, and appropriate motor vehicle insurance.
- Must acquire and maintain facility credentialing for access to medical facilities within assigned territory (including annual flu shot and all other vaccines required by medical facilities within assigned territory).

The pay range for this position is between $112,000 and $169,000 annually.
Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Employees in this position are eligible for a discretionary performance-based cash incentive. Benefits for this position include a comprehensive health benefits package that includes medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage. Other offerings include life and disability benefits, pre-tax accounts, a 401(k) with company contribution, and a variety of other benefits.
