- Job Description
We’re looking for a mid-level KDB developer within Agency Trading.
Technical Skills (Must Have)
Q/KDB+, KDB stacks, Unix
Optional Skills (Good to have)
Front Office, Equities Asset Class
- Responsibilities:
- Implementing, supporting, and maintaining KDB systems for clients.
- Developing and maintaining applications using KDB technology stack.
- Writing Q code and developing secure production code.
- Collaborating with teams to deliver solutions on time.
- Managing releases and code deployment for KDB systems.
- Collaborating with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models.
- Primary skills:
- Knowledge of KDB technology and Q language.
- Solid experience with Q/KDB+ creating and managing large KDB stacks.
- Knowledge of software delivery process and methodologies.
- UNIX OS knowledge.
- Experience in the financial sector, particularly in the end-to-end development process.
- Ability to manage real-time applications for high-stakes financial operations.
- Experience in agile software development and JIRA.
- Knowledge of financial regulatory reporting and compliance with SEC Rule 15c31.
- These roles are crucial for ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and security of data in financial institutions.
- Candidates should have a strong academic record and relevant experience in the KDB field to be considered for these positions.

- Clear communication & systematic reasoning.
