Junior Webflow Developer

CoinDesk, the leading media, events, indices, and data company for the global crypto economy, is looking for a Junior Webflow Developer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to dive into the fast-paced world of digital assets and gain hands-on experience building and maintaining critical web platforms.

In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our Webflow-powered websites, including data.coindesk.com and indices.coindesk.com, along with other key web properties. You'll work closely with our product, sales, and marketing teams to bring their visions to life, setting up new templates, updating existing content, and ensuring a seamless user experience. Please note: This role will be on-site in our London office.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building and maintaining Webflow websites: Your primary focus will be designing, developing, and updating pages within the Webflow platform.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams: You'll work closely with product managers, sales, and marketing to understand their needs and translate them into effective web solutions.

• Creating new templates and components: You'll help build reusable assets within Webflow to streamline content creation and maintain brand consistency.

• Updating existing content: You'll ensure our websites are always up-to-date with the latest information, graphics, and features.

• Implementing minor code adjustments: While Webflow is your main tool, a basic understanding of HTML and JavaScript will be helpful for custom integrations or enhancements.

Key Requirements

• Familiarity with Webflow: Some experience working with Webflow, even on personal projects or through online courses, is a strong advantage. We're looking for someone keen to become a Webflow expert!

• Basic understanding of web technologies: You should have a foundational grasp of how websites work, including HTML and CSS. A little experience with JavaScript is also beneficial for adding interactive elements.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt: The digital asset space evolves quickly, and we need someone who is enthusiastic about learning new tools and technologies.

• Attention to detail: Ensuring our websites are visually appealing and functionally robust is crucial.

• Strong communication skills: You'll be interacting with various teams, so clear and concise communication is essential.

• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Experience & Qualifications

• Some experience working on websites: This could be through academic projects, personal portfolios, internships, or prior roles.

• A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Digital Media, Web Design) or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Have

• An understanding of UI/UX principles.

• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).

• A genuine interest in traditional financial markets or the cryptocurrency industry.
