The role:

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to support New Product Development projects and related technologies. Reporting to Production and Engineering Senior Leadership, your role will involve technical project management, cross-functional collaboration, and driving efficiency improvements within manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on the creation of Manufacturing Equipment Study (MES) documents as part of the NPD process.

• Develop and evaluate filling scenarios for new products using case studies.

• Assess technical and capacity risks for planned product launches, modifications, and relaunches.

• Draft, coordinate, and implement project plans for new product introductions, using cross-functional resources.

• Conduct machine and packaging tests to confirm technical requirements and compatibility.

• Communicate project progress to plant management, technical leaders, and international customers (Kao USA/Japan), initiating corrective measures.

• Supervise start-up operations post-project implementation (0-series), document outcomes, and transition responsibilities to plant operators.

• Prepare functional specifications and supplier enquiries, evaluate offers, and compile decision proposals for management and customers.

• Select equipment suppliers and draft investment applications for the technical implementation of product launches.

• You will provide consultancy to Kao production facilities abroad and monitor adherence to project cost targets and budgets.

• Stay informed about technical advancements in mixing, filling, and packaging technologies, and evaluate potential implementations with Kao Engineering Japan.

• Develop and implement proposals to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency (Total Cost Reduction).

• You will plan and coordinate energy-saving measures.

Key Requirements:

• A university degree in a mechanical discipline such as Industrial Mechanics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a similar field.

• 3–5 years of professional experience in cosmetics, FMCG, food, or other related industries.

• Project management experience.

• A hands-on approach with strong coordination, decision-making, and negotiation skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge is advantageous.

• Occasional international travel
