Essential Functions / Deliverables
Technical
Documentation Writing & Editing – Develop clear,
concise, and accurate documents including User manuals, Quick guides, Troubleshooting
guides & Release notes.
Collaboration
with Technical Teams – Liaise with product managers, developers, BAs,
QA, and support team to collect and validate
technical
information.
Template
& Information Development – Design reusable
content templates and maintain logical information hierarchies across
documents.
Visuals,
Diagrams & Content Enhancements – Create and maintain organizational
content, sequence, infographics, visuals to complement written material.
User
Experience & UI Content Support – Develop user-facing
content like tooltips, UI text, and contextual help content.
Multi-Audience
Content Management – Tailor documentation for technical, semi-technical,
and non-technical stakeholders.
Maintain
Documentation Repositories – Maintain content
libraries and version control using ADO, Zoho, SharePoint, Wiki etc.
Project
& Time Management – Prioritize and align
documentation delivery with sprint timelines and release cycles.
Review
and Proofread Content – Ensure spelling, grammar,
formatting, and basic structure are accurate.
Learning
& Development – Stay updated with writing standards,
tools, and basic domain knowledge.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a
technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
or Technical Communication)
Certifications: Not mandatory. Technical writing (Markdown) or
communication certifications are a plus
Required Years and Area of Professional Experience
: 0 to 1+ years of experience
in technical writing, preferably in software development, IT, or engineering
domains
Critical Professional Related Technical/Computer
Skills :
Documentation Skills:User
manuals, process documentation, technical specifications
Tools & Platforms: Familiarity
with MS Office and content tools like Confluence or Markdown editors
Content Structuring: Information
structuring, centralised content templates, topic-based writing
Professional competencies :
· Willingness to learn technical concepts

Good interpersonal and collaboration skills
Experience with:
Creating documentation for software products or enterprise

Skills Required

- Experience creating user manuals, process documentation, and technical specifications
- Familiarity with MS Office and content tools such as Confluence or Markdown editors
- Understanding of information structuring, centralized content templates, and topic-based writing
- Understanding of the Document Development Life Cycle and documentation across development, deployment, and support phases
- Understanding and use of Microsoft Copilot or AI tools for documentation
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly language
- Strong grasp of technical writing standards, versioning, and formatting
- Ability to follow style guides and templates
- Good interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Experience creating documentation for software products or enterprise applications
- Experience with user-centric content development and Agile environments with distributed teams

- Technical writing in Markdown or communication certification
