Are you passionate about tax and eager to grow your career in a dynamic and supportive environment? We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our tax team in Bangkok, Thailand.

As part of our team, you’ll work closely with experienced professionals and get hands-on experience across a variety of tax areas. This role is perfect for someone with a background in accounting or tax who’s looking to sharpen their skills and take the next step in their career.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting tax compliance reviews and providing advisory services on-site at the client’s premises at least two days per week. You will also be involved in a range of other tax projects, including general tax advisory, M&A engagements, tax controversy matters, and other related tasks.

Job descriptions:

• On-site at the client’s premises to perform tax compliance reviews, covering withholding tax, VAT on domestic and cross-border transactions, corporate income tax, stamp duty, and other taxes relevant to the client’s operations
• Conduct research on Thai tax laws, private rulings, double tax treaties, and other relevant resources to provide clients with tax advice on their day-to-day operations
• Assist in other tax projects, including tax advisory, M&A projects, tax controversy and other tax tasks (time-to-time)

Qualifications:

• Accounting background with 1–3 years of experience in tax compliance (corporate income tax, withholding tax, VAT, stamp duty, etc.), auditing, or a related field with the ability to analyze basic tax and accounting information.
• Competent in Thai and English, both written and spoken
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint (SAP experience is a plus)
• Eager to build on your existing skills and to develop your career
• Proactive attitude with the ability to implement solutions to problems
• Responsible and able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
• Willing to work on-site with the client at least two days per week, depending on the client’s requirement
