How you will make an impact as a Junior Software Project Manager:
- Responsible for breaking the roadmap into milestones, epics, and stories, maintain prioritized backlogs as projects evolve
- Coordinates activities of the product software development team with other cross-functional teams (ie. Systems, Hardware, Cloud, Test, and Quality)
- Ensuring projects meet milestones and quality measures in a timely manner by quickly identifying and removing roadblocks, and contributing to project deliverables
- Contribute to the development of project-level documentation in support of Quality including project plans, requirements, technical design descriptions and cybersecurity deliverables
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in technical project leadership
- 3+ years hands on experience with embedded software development (backend or full stack) examples include:
- Programming language experience Python 3 and C/ C++ 20
- RTOS and embedded systems development
- Distributed messaging systems
- Object-oriented design,
- Continuous integration, continuous deployment
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
- Knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), understanding of software development life cycle models (DEVSECOPS preferred) as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
- Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams
