Smadex is a cutting-edge ad-tech company that handles more than 4.5 million ad requests per second with a response time under 100ms. We process several terabytes of data daily to make our real-time components smarter. This time we're looking for a passionate Junior Software Engineer to join us and help us keep our platform in motion.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a hybrid working model in Barcelona.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will get hands-on experience by:
Building a cloud-based platform using modern technologies.
Collaborating with highly-skilled peers in a fast-paced environment.
Contributing to technical and architectural decisions.
- Participating in code reviews.
What We Are Looking For
- You're an engineering or master’s degree student.
You're available to start immediately and work full-time (40 hours per week).
You are self-motivated, eager to learn, and have excellent communication skills in English.
Bonus points:
Basic Linux skills and comfort working with a terminal.
Experience with Java or Node.js. Don't worry, you'll learn everything else you need!
