Junior SOC Analyst (Tier 1)

This is a career-starting opportunity for someone eager to grow into a Tier 2+ role in the next 12–18 months.

What You’ll Do:

• Monitor and triage incoming security alerts from Cloudflare and other sources
• Perform initial investigation and classification of threats (Tier 1)
• Identify false positives and escalate potential incidents to Tier 2
• Maintain detailed documentation of incidents and findings
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks
• Coordinate with senior analysts during investigations
• Learn how to interpret logs (DNS, HTTP, Gateway, Access, etc.)
• Join team huddles and participate in training programs

• Basic understanding of computer networks, firewalls, IP/DNS concepts
• Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, antivirus, log management)
• Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility
• Willingness to learn and grow fast

Education & Background:

• Recent graduates from: Ateneo, DLSU, Mapua, APC, iAcademy, UP, or similar
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Cybersecurity bootcamp, lab, or CTF experience is a plus
• Certifications (even partial): CompTIA ITF+, Security+, or Google Cybersecurity
