Upon completion, this role is expected to transition to the standalone Universal Banking business, creating opportunities to support its future growth and success.
Role overview
As a Junior Sales Executive, you will be part of the Sales organization (reporting to Regional MDs) in the Universal Banking Business Unit, which serves some of the largest and most complex financial organizations in the world.
You will play a role in generating revenue by selling software solutions and services to new prospects and/or existing clients within assigned territory to meet assigned sales targets. Creating and managing a strategic territory plan to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline and sales target attainment.
While mentored by the Sales Leadership team, you will develop prospects through individual efforts, promoting and selling solutions to new or existing clients at all levels, especially the senior executive level.
Lead the acquisition of new clients and focus on closing direct sales of products and/or services to achieve or exceed individual/team quotas, revenue, and profit objectives.
Responsible for account management of customers through key stages of their journey, from acquisition to long-term satisfaction, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships.
Responsibilities:
Create and manage a strategic territory plan that includes activities for quota attainment.
Engage proactively and frequently with customers and prospects, including with on-site visits, to build strong relationships and understand their business drivers and challenges.
Build and maintain relationship with prospects and existing clients, communicating strategic plans and status.
Close business to meet forecast commitments and sales quotas.
Perform outbound business development & sales activities for an assigned territory to close business and to achieve quota.
Analyse financial position and challenges of clients to determine sales approach.
Creation of software leads at the customer level, and collaborate across all functions to manage opportunities, including services, upsells, renewals, and compliance.
Maintain sales forecasting data in CRM system
Coordinate internal resources to ensure prompt, accurate, and professional delivery of sales, marketing, and proposal materials to prospects.
Develop and maintain relationships with industry/professional individuals and organizations.
Stay abreast of current industry trends, competitors, and current/new company products and services.
Participate in training programs as directed by manager.
Experience:
Demonstrated track record of generating pipeline with a history of exceeding targets
Experience working with Finastra products preferred.
CRM tool experience preferred.
B2B Sales and/or Account Management experience a plus.
