Job Description

THIS ROLE:

Support the Revenue Assurance function by performing billing accuracy reviews to ensure services delivered are invoiced completely and correctly. Work with Client Services and Billing to identify discrepancies, support remediation, and assist with the design and documentation of preventive billing controls. This junior role suits someone analytical, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn. 

Responsibilities (how we will measure success) 

Billing reviews & revenue accuracy 

  • Conduct structured billing completeness and accuracy checks against contractual terms (fixed, variable, ad‑hoc). 

  • Document findings clearly and support correction activities to secure revenue. 

Support to preventive controls & RA projects 

  • Assist in testing, documenting and rolling out simple preventive billing controls (checklists, reconciliations, data validation). 

  • Maintain an issues and actions log and track remediation to closure under guidance from senior RA colleagues. 

Data & reporting support 

  • Prepare working files, extracts and summaries using standard templates. 

  • Help produce MI packs and stakeholder updates; maintain organised, audit‑ready documentation. 

Cross‑team collaboration 

  • Work with Client Services, Billing and Finance to obtain data, clarify queries and resolve discrepancies. 

  • Escalate complex or ambiguous issues promptly to senior RA colleagues. 

Success metrics (indicative) 

  • Accuracy and completeness of billing checks performed. 

  • Number of reviews supported and documentation quality. 

  • Timeliness of issue escalation and contribution to reduced billing defects. 

  • Adoption of simple preventive controls and quality of MI produced. 

Tasks (day‑to‑day) 

  • Extract data from ERP/PSA/time & billing systems (e.g., NetSuite, Investran, Antrance). 

  • Compare services delivered vs. invoiced and quantify variances. 

  • Support preparation of review artefacts (working files, summaries, control logs). 

  • Assist in documenting preventive controls and updating RA checklists. 

  • Prepare concise stakeholder summaries and status updates. 

  • Maintain share‑drive folders and naming conventions.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

Education / Professional Qualification 

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, or equivalent experience. 

Background experience 

  • 0–2 years in accounting, finance operations, billing, audit or fund administration (desired not essential)

  • Exposure to Private Equity or Fund Administration is helpful but not required. 

Systems knowledge 

  • Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots, data cleaning). 

  • Familiarity with NetSuite / Investran or similar tools is an advantage. 

Languages 

  • Fluent English.
