Looking for a Junior QA Analyst/Tester with 5+ years of experience in functional, automation, API, and database testing. Strong hands-on expertise with Katalon, Postman, REST APIs, and automated test execution. Experience in writing test cases, defect tracking, CI/CD integration, and ensuring software quality across applications and microservices environments.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and execute functional and automation test cases
- Perform API testing for RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Microservices using Postman
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon and other automation tools
- Identify, document, track, and report software defects
- Execute database testing and validate backend data integrity
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues
- Prepare test reports and maintain QA documentation
- Support CI/CD testing processes and continuous quality improvements

Skills Required
- Candidates must be located in California, USA
- Minimum experience 6 3 years (job lists 3 years minimum)
- 5+ years of experience in Software QA and Testing (listed elsewhere in posting)
- Hands-on experience with Katalon
- API testing experience using Postman (RESTful APIs, Web Services, Microservices)
- Automation testing experience and ability to create/maintain automated test scripts
- Experience with Selenium, TestNG, SoapUI or similar automation tools
- Database testing experience and ability to write SQL queries to validate backend data
- Experience writing test cases, defect tracking, and reporting QA documentation
- Experience integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines and supporting continuous quality improvements
