Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA Analyst to join our software team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is new to software testing and eager to gain real-world experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers and product managers to test software applications, identify bugs, reduce regressions and ensure the final product meets quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Execute manual test cases based on user stories and requirements
- Identify, document, and report bugs clearly and concisely using JIRA
- Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing
- Run smoke test before each release
- Participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning meetings to help identify edge cases
- Maintain test documentation including test cases, test results, and test data
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing
- Contribute to improving testing processes and product quality
- Collaborating with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback early in the development cycle
- Participating in regression, smoke, and exploratory testing cycles
- Learning and adhering to team best practices and QA processes
- Assist in triaging support tickets to identify and resolve root causes promptly, with a focus on reducing recurring issues.
Requirements:
- Candidate should be a power user of Fabric
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a QA role
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Exposure to tracking tools like JIRA
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
