About the Role
Cell Tech USA is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Python Developer (Integrations) to join our Engineering team. This role is ideal for someone early in their software development career who enjoys problem-solving, automation, and learning modern backend technologies.
As a Junior Python Developer, you will work on our internal SCIM Bridge, a FastAPI-based service that integrates Microsoft Entra ID with third-party vendor applications. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain application adapters that automate user provisioning processes across different vendor platforms.
Each integration follows an established architecture and coding pattern, allowing you to focus on building reliable, high-quality solutions while gaining valuable experience with backend development, API integrations, browser automation, and identity management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new application adapters for various third-party vendor platforms using the existing integration framework.
- Build and maintain Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) handlers following the company's adapter registry pattern.
- Automate vendor portals using Playwright (Patchright) for applications that do not provide APIs.
- Handle browser interactions including:
- Login sessions
- Multi-step workflows
- Form submissions
- Navigation
- Timeout handling
- Follow the Read Before Write principle by verifying existing records before making any changes to prevent duplicate actions and ensure data consistency.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented Python code following existing coding standards.
- Develop unit and integration tests using pytest, including both successful and failure scenarios.
- Store operational logs and audit records using Async SQLAlchemy with PostgreSQL.
- Troubleshoot and maintain integrations whenever vendor portals or APIs change.
- Collaborate with the IT and Identity Management teams during onboarding of new vendor applications.
- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve code quality.
- Work with Git using small, meaningful commits and follow version control best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong understanding of Python programming fundamentals.
- Knowledge of:

- Basic understanding of asynchronous programming (async/await) or willingness to learn quickly.
- Experience with at least one Python web framework such as:
- FastAPI
- Flask
- Django

- Ability to understand and work within an existing codebase.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and debugging ability.
