The Role

Job Overview


As a Junior Product Owner, you’ll join our growing team to help execute the company's vision on the product side of our suite of solutions. We use innovative software to identify business opportunities and increase revenue for our clients (ski resorts, amusement parks, waterparks, zoos, museums, family & adventure parks, etc.).


Additionally, the Product team owns all aspects of our software development lifecycle. You will write detailed requirements for feature development, ensuring clarity and completeness for the development team. You will also analyze product performance reports and data visualizations for both internal and external users. As needed, you will complete tasks such as user story creation, backlog grooming, and stakeholder management. 


You will be responsible for performing market analyses, including competitor analysis and customer feedback, and clearly and concisely communicating your findings to project stakeholders and team leads.


This position involves occasional direct communication with clients, which requires expert communication and active listening skills. The Product team collaborates closely with all departments in the company to proactively enable every team to become more efficient and reduce manual time spent on their tasks.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage the internal product roadmap, ensuring continuous value delivery.
  • Execute and create tasks to ensure the planing.
  • Maintenance of the public roadmap.
  • Ensure that both roadmaps are visible, transparent, and understood by the development team and stakeholders.
  • Prepare the functional requirements and collaborate with the development team to clarify what’s necessary, providing feedback and answering questions.
  • Validate that development team delivers fits the requirements’ needs. 
  • Product releases notes generation to provide necessary training and documentation.
  • Provide necessary technical knowledge to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide Tier 2 Support level. 
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and team collaboration.

Lines of communication

  • The Product Owner Junior reports to the Platform Manager and will be responsible for communicating with multiple stakeholders across the business.

Working conditions

  • Minimum 100% availability as an employee of Spotlio Spain SL. Willingness to work outside office hours with notice.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner Junior in the software industry.
  • Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Proficient English speaker, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly visual and verbal communication of dense and technical subjects.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Willingness and motivation to learn new tools and skills.
