Junior Embedded Software Engineer

This is what you can move
Develop, implement, test, and debug software for embedded systems up to series production readiness, utilizing standard tools (e.g., SW configuration management, defect tracking)
Execute, analyze, and document engineering tests, providing feedback for product design optimization
Contribute to product definition, implementation of requirements in prototypes, and evaluation of solutions using agile methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking, User-Centered Design)
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality management processes, and technical documentation according to industry standards
Collaborate with Product Care and Production Engineering teams to support design transfer, product modifications, and manufacturing processes
Participate in innovation processes, evaluate new technologies, and develop firmware enabling integration between embedded systems and cloud applications
What you bring along
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems Engineering or similar engineering degree
0–2 years of professional experience, preferably in the medical industry or similarly highly regulated environment
Basic understanding of embedded systems design, electronic circuit design, real-time operating systems, and control systems
Basic experience in firmware development for embedded microcontrollers and software development using object-oriented design principles
Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, with familiarity in development environments such as MS Visual Studio and IAR
Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Strong accountability, ability to report transparently, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement
