Who are we?

Job Summary

As a Network Engineer supporting our managed services offering, Digital Infrastructure Management Service (DIM), you will be responsible for providing operational support for customer network environments hosted within Equinix data centers, the Equinix Network Edge virtual networking platform, and our Managed Private Cloud (MPC) services. This role focuses on post-deployment operations, including customer support, incident response, troubleshooting, and configuration changes.

You will help customers maintain stable and secure IT infrastructure by leveraging Equinix Managed Services and providing technical expertise throughout the operational lifecycle. This includes responding to customer inquiries, restoring services during incidents, and implementing requested operational changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for customer network infrastructures after service deployment
• Respond to customer inquiries and technical support requests
• Perform troubleshooting and restoration activities during incidents and service disruptions
• Implement configuration changes based on customer requirements
• Maintain and support customer network environments throughout the operational phase
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and vendors to ensure service quality
• Contribute to continuous operational improvement and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in one or more of the following areas: implementation, operations, or maintenance of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network environments
• At least 1 year of experience in implementation, operations, or maintenance of routing technologies such as BGP, OSPF, and Static Routing
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience in network environments.
• Business-level Japanese & English communication skills
• Experience working effectively with customers and internal stakeholders in a professional environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with implementation, operations, or maintenance of virtual networking technologies such as SD-WAN
• Experience with implementation, operations, or maintenance of security technologies such as firewalls (FW)
• Technical knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
• Broad infrastructure knowledge with experience in:
  • Technical analysis and problem solving
  • Identifying technical challenges and developing solution approaches
  • Infrastructure strategy and target-state planning
  • High-level infrastructure architecture and design
• Experience participating in projects where English was used as a primary working language

-主な責任

当社のマネージド・サービス製品であるDigital Infrastructure Management Serviceの担当として、当社設置お客様ネットワーク機器、当社仮想ネットワークサービス Network Edge、当社プライベートクラウド（MPC）のデリバリー後の運用サービス提供を担っていただきます。ネットワークインフラアーキテクトとして、システム課題発生時のトラブルシューティング、お客様からのお問い合わせなどを含め、お客様がお持ちの課題を当社のマネージド・サービスを軸に解決へと導くための技術的な観点から運用を行います。

（ネットワーク運用サービス）

・システム構築後、運用フェーズにて、お客様からの各種問い合わせ、障害発生時の復旧対応、お客様からのご依頼に合わせた設定変更作業など、システム運用における業務を実施する。

職務要件

資格＆経験

【必須経験】

·        L2、L3ネットワーク構築、運用、保守のいずれかの経験（１年以上）

·        ルーティングプロトコル（BGP、OSPF、スタティック）構築、運用、保守のいずれかの経験（1年以上）

·        ネットワークシステムにおいてのトラブルシューティング経験

·        ビジネスレベルの日本語、英語力

【さらに下記経験があると尚可】※優遇・歓迎要件

·        仮想化ネットワーク技術（SD-WAN）構築、運用、保守のいずれかの経験

·        FWなどのセキュリティ製品構築、運用、保守のいずれかの経験

·        パブリッククラウド（AWS、Azureなど）のテクニカルスキル

·        大規模環境（エンタープライズ環境）での業務経験

·        インフラ全般関して専門知識をもち、技術的分析、技術的課題の整理と解決策の立案及び、インフラグランドデザイン設計等に携わった経験のある方

·        英語を使用したプロジェクト業務経験
