Job DescriptionThe Junior Network Engineer is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the network infrastructures of multiple customers within a shared services team. The Junior Network Engineer operates and maintains LAN/WAN, datacenter and security components in a 24/7 production environment.
Responsibilities:
Junior Network Engineer with foundational knowledge of LAN/WAN/WLAN environments and network monitoring. Experienced in supporting network operations, handling alerts and incidents, performing basic troubleshooting, and assisting with network changes and maintenance activities. Strong interest in learning and developing technical skills, with a proactive approach to documentation, process improvement, and ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing network services.
QualificationsExperience & Core Skills
- 1 year of hands‑on experience in network operations/run.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and clear communication (written & verbal).
- Fluent in English; comfortable with technical English.
- Able to prioritize, work autonomously, and perform under on‑call conditions.
- Security: Firewalls F5 and Fortinet - mandatory
- Rigorous, responsible, reliable - especially in production and on‑call environments.
- Strong analytical thinking; remains calm and reactive during crises.
- Team‑oriented mindset in multi‑customer environments.
- Organized, autonomous, and able to manage priorities effectively.
- Customer‑focused with respect for SLAs and deadlines
Skills Required
- 1 year of hands-on experience in network operations or network run
- Foundational knowledge of LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments
- Experience with network monitoring
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Fluency in English and comfort with technical English

- Experience with F5 firewalls
- Experience with Fortinet firewalls
