Junior Video Editor

Labhouse is a fast-growing startup that builds, launches, and scales its own AI & Productivity Apps, operating under a subscription-based business model.

Based in Barcelona, Labhouse was founded by Andrés Bou and Horacio Martos (Co-Founders of SocialPoint).

We operate at the intersection of mobile technology, AI, and product-driven growth, with a strong focus on experimentation and performance.

Would you like to make an impact as part of a company that builds the best mobile apps used by millions of users worldwide? If so, discover your next challenge below.

About the Role:

As a Junior Video Editor you'll join Labhouse's video editing team to take concepts that are already proven and expand them into the volume of variations needed to find their best-performing version. Your focus won't be creating new concepts from scratch, but producing hooks, CTAs, pacing, and format variants of existing ads at scale and A/B testing them to identify what wins. This is a hands-on, operational role from day one: you'll be expected to deliver around 100 iterations a week, working closely with senior editors and Creative Strategists, and building your skills across both classic editing and AI-powered creative tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Produce iterations of existing, proven ads: new hooks, alternate CTAs, pacing changes, and small creative tweaks aimed at keeping performance strong.

  • Work at high volume, delivering around 100 iterations a week without losing attention to detail or quality.

  • Adapt existing ads into new formats and versions for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, including localized or platform-specific cuts.

  • Apply feedback and direction from Creative Strategists accurately and quickly, iterating until the ad is ready to ship.

  • Learn and apply AI-powered creative tools to speed up iteration work, under the guidance of the wider team.

  • Keep iteration work organized and on-brief, hitting agreed formats, lengths, and specs across platforms.

  • Flag opportunities for further iterations based on what you notice in an ad's performance or audience response.

  • Support the wider video editing team with production capacity during high-volume periods.

About You:

Academic background:

  • No specific degree required. We care about your editing skills and eagerness to learn, not your diploma.

Technical expertise:

  • Some experience editing short-form video content.

  • Comfortable with Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

  • A good sense of what makes short-form video engaging: pacing, hooks, captions, and current trends on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

  • Knowledge in AI creative tools such as Seedance, Veo3, Kling, ElevenLabs, NanoBanana, Claude Design, ChatGPT.

  • Comfortable following detailed briefs and applying precise, iterative feedback quickly.

Problem-solving and product focus:

  • Detail-oriented, with a good eye for what looks and feels right.

  • Eager to learn, open to feedback, and quick to turn notes into a better version of the ad.

  • Organized and able to manage several small iteration tasks in parallel without losing quality.

  • Comfortable working at high volume, while keeping a steady, consistent standard of work.

Communication:

  • Good level of spoken and written English and Spanish.

  • Comfortable asking questions, sharing progress, and collaborating closely with senior editors and the wider team.

Nice to Have:

Pluses that are needed occasionally:

  • Previous experience or coursework in video editing, motion graphics, or social media content creation.

  • Experience with AI creative tools.

  • Exposure to app marketing or performance marketing environments.

What we Offer:
  • Remote work from LATAM.

  • Flexible working hours.

  • High-end equipment for your development.

  • A young and top entrepreneurial team in a dynamic startup environment.

  • Real hands-on experience across a high volume of live, performance-driven campaigns.

  • Work with cutting-edge technologies, including AI creative tools used daily in production.
