The Manufacturing Academy is ASML’s center of expertise for technical learning solutions. Based in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, we are looking for a talented Learning &Knowledge Management (L&KM) Solution Designer to join our Design & Development team. As an instructional designer, you will create innovative learning experiences that help employees build the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles. Working closely with subject matter experts, technical trainers, fellow learning professionals, and business stakeholders, you will design and develop performance-based learning solutions that drive both learner engagement and business impact.
As our new Learning & Knowledge Management (L&KM) Solution Designer, you will join the Design & Development team within the Manufacturing Academy. As part of our didactics team, you will work alongside learning professionals who are passionate about creating impactful learning experiences that enable employees to perform at their best.
In this role, you will:
Collaborate with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to analyze learning needs and define clear learning objectives.
Gather knowledge, insights, and requirements from subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to support the development of learning solutions.
Design and develop effective, engaging, and learner-centered materials, including storyboards for e-learning modules, presentations, manuals, and assessments, applying proven instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure learning materials are accurate, functional, user-friendly,and aligned with business requirements.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in learning design and development , continuously bringing new ideas and approaches to the team.
What You Bring
We are looking for a learning professional who combines strong instructional design expertise with a passion for creating meaningful learning experiences.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Learning and Development in Organizations, Human Resource Development, Educational Sciences, or a related field.
Experience in instructional design, including the creation of detailed storyboards for a variety of learning solutions.
A solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
Strong creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
The ability to switch between working independently and collaborating effectively in a cross-cross-functional, matrix organization.
Proficiency in using Copilot or similar AI-enabled tools as part of your daily workflow.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Excellent Office 365 skills.

The following qualifications will be considered an advantage:
Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
