Responsibilities:
* Provide first-line support for hardware and basic software issues for workstations and laptops (setup, imaging, updates, troubleshooting).
* Maintain device inventory and asset tags.
* Onboard & Offboarding employee equipment, setting up workstations.
* Install, troubleshoot, and maintain printers, scanners, and peripheral equipment.
* Ensure wired and wireless network connectivity for users (cable checks, Wi‑Fi configuration, basic router/switch troubleshooting).
* Perform routine maintenance tasks (OS updates, antivirus checks, backups) and document actions in ticketing system.
* Assist with user account setup and access provisioning (password resets, permissions, security enrollment) in coordination with senior IT staff.
* Escalate complex hardware, network, or security issues to senior IT personnel following escalation procedures.
* Support office moves and workstation relocations, including cabling and equipment reconfiguration.
* Maintain clear, professional communication with users and provide basic how‑to guidance for common issues.
Requirements* 1-2 years experience supporting a business environment.
* Experience setting up Windows OS, imaging, and configuring desktops and laptops.
* Basic troubleshooting of Windows and macOS workstations and laptops.
* Basic OS maintenance (patching/updates, antivirus/endpoint protection).
* Experience with Linux and macOS - is a plus.
* Printer and peripheral installation and troubleshooting (network & USB).
* Basic wired and wireless networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, Wi‑Fi setup, cable testing).
* Account management fundamentals (password resets, Active Directory or equivalent).
* Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) enrollment and policies.
* Experience using ticketing systems and documenting support activities.
* Hardware repair basics (component swaps, peripheral replacement, cable management)
* Clear end‑user communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to follow escalation procedures and work under direction of senior IT staff.
