Overview of Role
Rothschild & Co Bank AG’s IT Security team is responsible for implementing the information- and cybersecurity strategy in accordance with internal security standards, regulatory requirements and best practices for the Rothschild & Co Wealth Management division in Switzerland.
This role is suitable for a somebody with the will to develop in the field of IT security with a good eye for detail. The ideal candidate would have a solid understanding of technical security matters and also has knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
Responsibilities
Lead Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM) activities, including tracking emerging threats and vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation and patching activities with IT teams and service providers, and monitoring remediation KPIs.
Coordinate and manage penetration tests, red team exercises, and other security assessment activities.
Implement and maintain a centralized process for tracking remediations of security findings and vulnerabilities to ensure timely mitigation and effective risk reduction.
Collaborate in the deployment and utilization of IT security technologies across key control areas to effectively mitigate cybersecurity risks and ensure compliance with information security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
Execute and maintain daily security operations to ensure robust protection of organizational assets.
Support IT Projects and lead security projects, including initiatives to enhance cybersecurity hygiene across the organization
Develop and maintain security documentation including technical standards, methodologies and procedures
Implement and monitor IT security controls to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies
Provide comprehensive support for internal and external audits, ensuring all security controls are thoroughly documented and compliant
Offer expert advisory support through thorough documentation review, assurance tests, technology assessments, and strategic foresight to anticipate future security needs
Demonstrate a proactive approach to personal development by engaging in security trainings and pursuing relevant certifications, such as CISSP, to maintain and enhance cybersecurity knowledge and skills
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
Master degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related field
Newly graduated to 3 years working experience
Self-motivated, proactive, well organized and delivery focused – the candidate must be able to work independently and switch between several simultaneous projects and effectively prioritize work
Strong problem solver and excellent analytical skills
Strong team player and very good communication skills (verbal and written) – the candidate must be a team player and able to effectively interact with other team members of the Rothschild & Co Group
Understanding of IT Security architecture concepts, technologies and good security practices
Proficient in English (written and spoken) is a must, additional languages (German, French, Italian) desirable
Preferred, knowledge of various information security frameworks and technologies, e.g. ISO 27001 and/or NIST Cybersecurity Framework
Preferred, knowledge of Swiss banking regulations and their applicability to technology
