As a Junior IT Project Manager, you will be part of multidisciplinary teams delivering IT projects that drive Greece’s digital transformation and support the EU Digital Decade 2030 objectives. You will contribute to initiatives such as the design and implementation of secure digital infrastructures, the modernization of public sector services, the enhancement of digital skills, and the deployment of digital solutions that help businesses thrive in the digital economy.
As a Junior IT Project Manager, you will support the successful delivery of IT projects by:
- Monitoring the implementation of IT projects throughout all core phases of an IT project’s life cycle (initiation, planning, execution and closure)
- Coordinating daily with project teams to ensure timely task execution and preparation of deliverables
- Monitoring project progress and preparing detailed reports and plans
- Participating in meetings with development teams and clients
- Keeping track of risks, issues and escalating issues when necessary
- Reviewing deliverables to ensure quality and compliance with requirements
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have:
- University degree (preferably in Computer Science or a related field)
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in IT
- Participation in at least 2 IT projects as a Project Manager/ Coordinator/part of a PMO team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and spoken Greek and English
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar)
- Project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent)
- Experience in software development
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks / tools
