About the Role:
CKH is seeking a junior accountant for our government accounting department. We will trust you to:
- Assist local municipalities in identifying and resolving bookkeeping issues.
- Travel to client sites as needed across GA, SC, and FL.
- Reconcile bank, balance inter-fund accounts
- Ensure client is audit ready by reviewing trial balance and preparing the necessary PBC schedules for multiple clients
Requirements:
- Great understanding of accounting (double entries)
- Solid communication skills
- Willingness to learn and problem solve
- Ability to work independently (self-starter)
- B.A./B.S. in Accounting
- GASB and GAAP
- 1+ year of experience
